Just got to Germany

We got to Germany. I am here for A couple of hours then we are off to Kuwait.  I slept for the whole plane ride over here. It is 10pm here.  We should be in Kuwait in the next couple of hours.

Waiting..

Just got to the  March Airforce base. near Riverside, Calirfornia. Found out 1 hour after we arrived that our flight does not come in till 3am!! So, we have to stay here till tommorw morning.  They let us go check out the base.  We are all just hanging out in this big hanger. They have TV’s, plenty of food and other things. They are bringing Olive Garden for us to eat tonight for dinner.    They told us that we are going to stop at Shannon, Ireland!  I am kind of excited about that.  We might get out in Ireland. (hopefully)  Everything is good. I am kind of tired, but besides that everything is fine.  I should arrive in Kuwait in the next few days.   The Marine Corps is all about waiting. Hurry up and wait.  I got A chance to talk to my wife yesterday.  Shes holding up.  Shes giving me good advice.. “Pray and read the bible”! “Dont go anywhere by yourself” haha.. Hopefully, I will get A chance to post something when I get to Iraq. 

A Couple Of Hours Away!

Guess what??  At 3 Am tommorrow morning, I will be getting ready to leave for Iraq! This will be the last post unitl I get there.  We are going to an airforce base near our base and will be chartering A Commerical flight to Kuwait.  We still have to go through the same security screening process as everyone else..No liquids..not toothpaste..etc…  I heard it was really hot out there in Kuwait.  I had my head shaved so, they told me I should put some sun tan lotion because there have been Marines who have gotten 3rd degree burns from the sun!! ouch!  

All my stuff is packed…and I am ready to go..  I will be writing  more once  I get to Iraq…

ROAD TO IRAQ

Its Sunday evening and I am still not packed.. I will be leaving for Iraq on Thrusday.  This is my first tour.   I just  got married and on the way back from the airport is when they told me that I will be leaving for Iraq. Great wedding gift!!  I feel like I have soo much to do and so little time!  I just want to go so, that I can come back…Does that make sense?   Well, I’ll be posting more on here.. so, keep checking back and I will update you on life in Iraq.  I will also post my mailing address on here so, you can keep in touch with me.
